Executive Vice President
Co-Founder
William J. Thompson, Ph.D. is Executive Vice President and Co-founder of Circadiant,
where he is responsible for operations, engineering and quality
assurance. Prior to co-founding Circadiant, Dr. Thompson was
credited as lead designer for both the Lucent OC192 (10Gb/s)
optical receiver project and the company’s only DWDM optical
receiver product. Previously, Dr. Thompson spent 10 years at
various universities and national laboratories establishing highly
automated precision measurement techniques and data analysis
algorithms. Dr. Thompson holds a Ph.D. in physics from Stony
Brook, New York and has published several papers and patents
in optics and physical processes.
